13th India-EU summit concluded in Brussels. The outcome of the meeting can be broadly classified into 3 pillars:

  1. EU-India Agenda for Action-2020 : To create deeper political understanding in rapidly changing global environment that sees rising China, assertive Russia, violently fracturing Middle East and an America in withdrawal.
  2. Comprehensive approach to address terrorism: Both sides urging adoption of the Comprehensive Convention on International Terrorism by UN.
  3. Resumption of stalled negotiations on Broad-based Trade and Investment along with deepening economic and technologic partnerships. Further cooperation in fighting climate change.
