A Harappan like site has been discovered at the Keezhadi Pallai Sandhaipudur village in Tamil Nadu.

The excavation was conducted by the team of experts from the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).

Similarities with Harappans:

1.    The discoveries include about 3,000 ancient artefacts like signet made of clay with ornamental design.

2.    The ancient settlement at the village had an underground drainage system which was on par with the Harappan system. The sewage drains had been laid with "baked clay pipe lines".
