Odisha : Naveen Patnaik is likely to be sworn-in as the Chief Minister for the fifth time.

Andhra Pradesh: YSR Jaganmohan Reddy will replace Chandrababu Naidu as CM after winning 152 of 175 seats. Naidu’s TDP is virtually wiped out. YSR Jaganmohan Reddy is the son of the former Congress Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, who died in plane crash. When Jaganmohan was not allowed to become Chief Minister by Congress party hogh command, after his father’s death, he launched his own party.

Arunachal Pradesh: BJP has secured 41 out of 60 seats. It is expected to form government again under CM Pema Khandu.

Sikkim: In a huge upset, CM Pawan Chamling’s SDF (part of NDA) loses. SKM leader Prem Tamang likely to be the new chief minister.
